The ZN118-12 consists of two core parts:
These two parts are integrated via a handcart frame and beam, forming a longitudinal layout (the mechanism remains fixed, while the poles rotate). It is a handcart-type longitudinal-rotary isolation vacuum circuit breaker, which can be matched with KYN88-12 switchgear to form a middle-mounted handcart cabinet. Electrical connection (to the main busbar above and current transformer below) is realized through contact heads.
The three-phase poles are fixed on a metal support (equipped with a drive connecting rod and drive/rotary motion conversion system), which enables the opening/closing operation of the circuit breaker and isolation switch. Both manual and electric operation are supported.
