Excellent corrosion resistance:
Resistance to chloride ion corrosion: It has extremely high tolerance to chloride ions and can work stably for a long time in chloride-containing environments such as seawater and salt solutions. In high-concentration chloride salt solutions, its corrosion resistance performance is remarkable. It is one of the few materials that can resist the corrosion of moist chlorine gas, hypochlorites, and chlorine dioxide solutions.
Resistance to corrosion by multiple acids: It can withstand the erosion of various acids such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, formic acid, and acetic acid, maintaining good stability in complex chemical medium environments, and is suitable for application in industries such as chemical engineering and pickling.
Resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking: It has excellent performance in terms of local corrosion, can effectively prevent the occurrence of pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, and has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, ensuring the structural integrity of the material during long-term use.
Good thermal stability: It can still maintain relatively high strength and corrosion resistance in a high-temperature environment. The chromium content is approximately 22%. This high chromium content can form a dense oxide film at high temperatures, effectively isolating oxygen and preventing further oxidation of the base metal, thus endowing it with good antioxidant properties.
